DIY // braided dog collars

Last week I noticed my little 3 pound chihuahua, Sugar, think it was a cool idea to show off her size. How you ask? Well she squeezes through the privacy fence & sunbaths in the neighbors yard, but doesn't tell mommy when she feels like doing so. So when I walk out back & see my little cutie missing, I freak. Like any mommy of such a cutie would do.

You see when we moved back to Texas we stripped the dogs of the collars unless we headed outside our home. You know, so they could be naked, free spirits if you will. I know it wasn't the smartest thing to-do, but we did it. Until I watched Sugar with her snake like moves the other day, & her look that reads, "watch this mom, i'm so cool." insert cute wagging tail.

If they can't be naked, let them at least be stylish...

I think it's safe to say Peanut likes it. Sugar on the other hand, she says it's cramping her snake like moves.

*note: we put a harness on the girls that attaches to their leash when it's walk time. so there was no need for a heavy duty collar. just in case you were wondering.
